The Club was set up to encourage more people to go racing, whilst at the same time getting more enjoyment from their racing by a greater involvement with the sport.
The Club also has an important role to play in racing’s corridors of power, as it is the official representative of both the racegoer and punter on the all important Industry Committee of the British Horseracing Board. Our special relationship with the racecourses means that we are able to offer concessions at all British courses in 2009.1,358 fixtures are discounted for Club members in 2009, more than ever before and representing a huge 92% of the fixture list.34 racecourses offer discounts at all of their 2009 fixtures and as 672 concessions fall on Saturdays, Sundays, evenings or Bank Holidays you can still save loads of money even if you do seem to work all the time. The concession scheme offers discounts of a minimum £3 or more into Tattersalls and/or the Club Enclosure and at some courses the saving is as large as £10.The discount vouchers are contained in your own personal voucher book; all you have to do is present the voucher when you go racing.
