This year the Racegoers Club is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Our first commemorative event will be at Newmarket for the Craven Meeting on the Thursday 19th April. The Craven Meeting at Newmarket’s historic Rowley Mile kicks off the Flat racing season in earnest and is seen as a key fixture for those with aspirations to run in the Guineas. The final day features the highly regarded Craven Stakes. Run over a mile, this Group 3 contest is for three-year-old colts and geldings and considered one of the key trails for the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas.
As well as a great days racing, we are offering members the opportunity to spend the morning at the National Stud. The National Stud has been an integral part of the British thoroughbred industry for over 100 years and is home to Prix de la Foret winner Aclaim, multiple Group winner Gregorian, undefeated Racing Post Trophy winner Marcel and top-class Stakes performer Time Test. We would like you to come join us at the first celebratory event of the year, to see some top class racing and stallions.
Our package includes:
- Visit to the National Stud before racing
- Racecourse admission
- Use of exclusive racecourse suite
- Full afternoon tea
- Complimentary racecard
- Commemorative 50th anniversary pin badge
