The King George saw a small, but talented line up for the historic race. Love went off as favourite, but it was Derby winner Adayar who proved best on the day running out a brilliant winner and becoming the first horse to do The Derby/King George double since Galileo.

Trueshan was the first point scorer for players down at Goodwood, proving a clear cut winner in the Goodwood Cup.

The Qatar Sussex Stakes consisted of a great line up, including classic winner Poetic Flare and Falmouth winner Snow Lantern, but it was Alcohol Free that landed the spoils toughing it out well to win by nearly two lengths.

The Qatar Nassau Stakes provided us with one of the best stories of the week, as Lady Bowthorpe powered to victory under Kieran Shoemark to land her much deserved Group 1 victory, the trainer's first for 27 years.

Wonderful Tonight now has her sights set firmly on the Arc after victory in the Group 2 Lillie Langtry Stakes on Saturday. The final point scoring winner of the week came at Newmarket where Save A Forest won the listed race to score 20 points.

A win for Lady Bowthorpe maintained David Marshall's position at the top of the table, but Chris Sutton is just 5 points down in second. Full standings can be viewed here.
