Ten To Follow (12.12.2018)

This weekend we were treated to some great National Hunt action from Sandown Park Racecourse for the Tingle Creek and Aintree Racecourse for the Beecher Chase.

The weekend started off at Sandown Park Racecourse which saw Alsa Mix put in a commanding display in the Ballymore Winter Novices' Hurdle. Unfortunately this wasn't a point scorer for players, but in the next scoring opportunities Dynamite Dollars caused an upset beating Lalor in the Henry VIII Novices' Chase. Hopefully, Lalor will be back to fight another day when the better ground comes. The feature race of the weekend saw a titanic battle between Altior and Un De Sceaux in the Tingle Creek. Despite being out jumped for much of the race, Altior stayed on strongly after the last to outgun Un De Sceaux up the home straight.

Up at Aintree Racecourse, Walk in the Mill produced an excellent round of jumping over the Grand National fences and had too much for the fast finishing Vieux Lion Rouge. Then it was the turn of Definitly Red to produce a commanding jumping display in another easy win.

On Sunday it was Huntingdon Racecourse's feature raceday which saw Charbel beating a good field in the Edredon Bleu Chase, and Timetochill rounded off the point scoring opportunities.

Be sure to check back next Wednesday for the scores.
