Ten to Follow Update 22.08.2019

Posted 1 year ago

It has been a quiet week for Ten to Follow players with just five point scoring opportunities and no winning picks!

Four of the races took place at Newbury, the first of these saw Orlaith run well at a big price to win the Listed contest. Thunderous was the next winner, staying on strongly under Franny Norton to justify favouritism. The third point scoring race was a Group 3 which was won impressively by Technician and jockey Rob Hornby. The final contest at Newbury was the Group 2 Hungerford Stakes. This was won by the Charlie Appleby trained Glorious Journey.

The only other point scoring opportunity for players was up at Pontefract in the form of the Fillies & Mares Listed race. This race saw Perfection return to winning ways under Silvestre De Sousa.

With no points scored by players the leader board remains unchanged from the last update. However, with the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival now underway at York Racecourse it isn’t likely to stay this way for long! The full standings can be viewed here.
