Racegoers Club have leased a three-year-old filly by Leading Light out of Bonnie Parker, who is in training with Dan Skelton for the 2019/20 Jumps season.

Leading Light won the Grade 1 St. Leger and the Ascot Gold Cup, amongst many other Graded races and won over £750,000 in prize money during his career.

Bonnie Parker was trained by Ferdy Murphy and ran for Racegoers Club in 2003/04, scooping prize money for members at Sedgefield under Davy Russell in 2004. Since becoming a broodmare, Bonnie Parker has produced successful horses such as El Bandit and Rogue Trader.

Dan is excited to be training for Racegoers Club and said: "The Leading Light filly seems a straightforward and honest type and she's working well at home. We've had her in the yard a couple of months now and we're just building up her workload. I'd like to think she'll be ready to run in the New Year."

The lease for this group will start on 1st November 2019 and will end on 31st October 2020, giving you a full year of excitement, with the option to renew your share after the first year. Shares are priced at a one-off cost of £325 for the full season with nothing else to pay. This group is limited to a maximum of 150 shares and will go ahead from the 1st November providing the minimum number of shares are sold.

Racegoers Club has had over 50 years experience in giving members the thrill of thoroughbred racehorse ownership. By leading our horses, we are able to offer well bred horses placed with top trainers, at a fraction of the cost normally associated with ownership.

Benefits of joining this owners group includes:

  • A share of any surplus winnings at the end of the owners group
