Richard Fahey Filly - Still Time To Get Involved

Posted 5 years ago

We have a limited number of shares available in the Owners Group with Richard Fahey for the 2017 Flat Season. Richard has been fantastic for us over the last three seasons, providing five winners and plenty of great days out and this year we have an exciting two-year-old filly with him.

Those who went on the stable tour in February will have seen our new recruit first hand and over the last couple of weeks she has really progressed nicely. We spoke to Richard this morning and although it’s still early days the signs remain encouraging.

Richard said: “She’s fine and has been working well. Although still untried really she’s been upsides horses nice and early which is a good sign. She’s very honest and gets on with the job which is encouraging.

“She’s not been on the grass yet but if things go to plan over the next two-to-three weeks we could start working her on the grass.”

We’ve had plenty of great name suggestions so far and we hope to finalise this by the end of the week.

If you have any thoughts or ideas please get in touch, remember she’s by first season sire Swiss Spirit and out of Belatorio.

Both have speed in their pedigree and Swiss Spirit, trained by John Gosden, was a Group 3 winner over five furlongs as well as finishing second in the Group 2 Temple Stakes and Group 2 King George Stakes. More information about the pedigree is available on our website.

We are looking forward to an exciting summer with her and you can find out more information here. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
