There were three races that scored points for players at Epsom to kick off this year's competition, including two TTF bonus races:

Winning Horse Points Scored Teams Scored For
Pyledriver 35 2
Snowfall 55 13
Adayar 55 2

The action got underway with the Group 1 Coral Coronation Cup where Al Aasy was fancied to continue his rise through the ranks and win his first Group 1. However, it was former Royal Ascot winner Pyledriver that got home in front, putting in a gutsy performance on the rail to battle back and win by a neck.

The Classics came next, starting with the Cazoo Oaks where Snowfall put in a performance of a lifetime under Frankie Dettori to win by a record 16 lengths.

There was lots of talk about jockey bookings for the Cazoo Derby with Dettori being selected to ride John Leeper over Adam Kirby. As a result Kirby picked up the ride on Godolphin's outsider Adayar. Adayar didn't start the best, but flew home up the rail to win by four and a half lengths.

After the first weekend of racing David Marshall is our early leader thanks to wins from Pyledriver and Snowfall.
