Nassalam got us underway when he found himself the winner of a Grade 2 Novices' Chase at Newbury. Pic D'Orhy was going well when falling 4 out, and this left Millers Bank in the lead, only for him to succumb to the same fate 2 fences later leaving the way clear for Nassalam to pick up the pieces.

On the Saturday Elle Est Belle ran out a convincing winner of a Listed Novices' Hurdle, and in the next race Ahoy Senor bolted up to land a 31 length victory.

It was Fighting Fifth day at Newcastle and the race provided a finish to remember when Not So Sleepy and Epatante couldn't be split by the judge and shared the spoils. As a result Epatante scored half points for her joint win, landing 27.5 points for 58 TTF teams.

One week later it was off to Sandown and Aintree for the Tingle Creek/Beecher Chase double header.  Zambella caused an upset in the Houghton Mares' Chase, beating 2/5 favourite Elimay into third with Annie Mc coming home second.

Native River was favourite for the Unibet Many Clouds Chase but he could only manage second on the day with Protektorat running out an impressive winner under Bridget Andrews. This result scored 30 points for 23 TTF teams.

The final point scoring winner came in the big race at Sandown. Chacun Pour Soi was a well fancied favourite but it was the Paul Nicholls' horses that delivered on the day. Hitman finished a gallant second, but Greaneteen was the star of the day, providing jockey Bryony Frost with a timely winner.
