Clive Cox

Clive started his career in racing as jump jockey before taking up his training licence in 2000.

He steadily established a reputation for being able to spot value at the sales and adept at placing horses in big handicaps. Clive is now established amongst the top British trainers, with multiple group winners to his name.

2015 saw his Kodi Bear win two group races and took on the best milers in Europe on Champions Day, another to keep an eye on is My Dream Boat, who progressed nicely over the Autumn whilst racing in France.

Clive trains out of Beechdown stables in Lambourn, which is owned by former jumps champion John Francome. Facilities include a private gallop and purpose built American style barn. But is best asset is no doubt his team of loyal staff; together they offer owners the best possible experience of racehorse ownership.
