Virtual Events

With Covid-19 restrictions stopping us from visiting the racecourses in person the Club has been arranging a range of virtual events for members to enjoy.

So far members have enjoyed Zoom calls with multiple Group 1 winning trainer Richard Fahey, Cheltenham Festival winning trainer Dan Skelton and Grand National winning trainer Oliver Sherwood. Away from the training ranks we have also heard from award winning Racing Post journalist Lee Mottershead, racing author Tony Linnett and ITV duo Jason Weaver & Luke Harvey. You can watch these chats on our YouTube page here.

Our Next Event

Details of our next zoom event will be shared here and in the next e-magazine as soon as they are confirmed. To get the most up to date information make sure we've got your email address, click here to email us.

Our Latest Event

Our latest zoom event saw ITV Racing and Sky Sports Racing duo Jason Weaver & Luke Harvey join forces for an hour of racing stories and banter hosted by Colin Brown. Jason and Luke shared their favourite memories from the weighing room, the story of how they got into racing and how they adapted to life in the broadcasting world. Our Desert Orchid Tribute Night

Our Desert Orchid tribute night gave Racegoers Club members a unique opportunity to listen to 'Team Dessie' share their favourite memories of the legendary grey, from his early runs to his iconic wins at Cheltenham and Kempton Park. The panel consisted of Dessie's trainer David Elsworth, his jockeys Colin Brown, Richard Linely, Simon Sherwood and Richard Dunwoody and Dessie's right hand woman Janice Coyle. You can watch the whole thing on our YouTube page here.
