We are delighted to announce that we are able to offer shares in Tenaya Canyon for her three-year-old racing campaign.

She bolted up at Newcastle on her third and final run of the 2020 season over six furlongs - she travelled strongly at the head of affairs throughout the race and kicked away from the field emphatically to win by a easy two-and-three-quarter lengths - 'comfortably' was how the Racing Post described it in their post-race report and Ed Walker, her trainer, said she is a talented filly who will go on to bigger and better things as a three-year-old, an exciting prospect.

Tenaya Canyon will continue to be trained by Ed Walker at Kingsdown Stables in Lambourn.

Tenaya Canyon, (Due Diligence ex Clouds Rest) comes from an exciting family that the Racegoers Club has been connected with over the years.  She is the second foal of Clouds Rest, which was a wonderful filly for the Club, winning three times in her two-year-old season, amassing £18,759 in prize money, as well as giving the members of her owners group a day to remember when she ran in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. Her first foal, Spirit Of The Sky, was in training with Richard Fahey and ran in the Club’s colours in 2019 and 2020, amassing over £16,000 in prize money.

Ed spent four years as assistant to Luca Cumani where he developed his individual approach to training. Ed has trained over 300 winners and prides himself on placing his horses in the right races. 2020 was another great year for Ed and the team at Kingsdown Stables and they are hoping that 2021 will prove to be an even better year. All in all, it promises to be an exciting season which you could be a part of.

Shares are available for a one-off cost of £325 for the full season with the lease beginning on 1 January 2020 and running until 31 October 2020.

This group is limited to 150 shares. As always, this group will be run subject to minimum share numbers being filled.
