The Racegoers Club is delighted to announce Racing Welfare as its official charity partner which will see the Club support the dedicated charity that provides guidance and help to racing’s workforce.

The partnership will see The Racegoers Club, the official supporters club for British racing fans, raising money for Racing Welfare through racecourse events and stable visits as well as donating prizes for auctions and raffles.

The Racegoers Club will also encourage it’s 4,000 strong membership to become a Friend of Racing Welfare and offer them with exciting volunteering opportunities at Racing Welfare events.

Caroline Davies, Racegoers Club Chairman, said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce this official partnership with Racing Welfare who do such important work throughout the sport.

“As the official supporters club for racing fans we are also a not for profit organisation which means supporting Racing Welfare is a very natural move for us. We look forward to supporting them in lots of activities and hope that our widespread membership will also get involved through the many volunteering opportunities on offer.”

Dawn Goodfellow, Chief Executive at Racing Welfare, said: “Racing Welfare is very excited that the Racegoers Club has appointed us as their official charity partner.  There is so much scope for us to work together to provide Club members with a deeper engagement in the sport they love, and to potentially generate new members through association with our fundraising events and activities.

“Racing Welfare relies on fundraising to provide the broad range of support and services to everyone who works in the racing industry when they need us, and the Racegoers Club’s pledge to encourage members to become a Friend of Racing Welfare and volunteer at our fundraising and community events is magnificent.”
