There was only one race at The International meeting at Cheltenham that scored points for players. The International Hurdle had a star-studded line up with the likes of Pentland Hills, Elixir De Nutz and Call Me Lord all vying for the prize. It was the Nicky Henderson trained Call Me Lord who came out on top, just holding off the run of Ballyandy to win by a neck. Well done to Gary Hutt who was the only player to pick the winner and score 30 points.

Up at Doncaster players who stuck by Sam Spinner were duly rewarded as he demolished the small field to win by 38 lengths. The race wasn’t without drama though as Joe Colliver had to use all his acrobatic skills to stay atop of Sam Spinner just six fences from home. Nevertheless, he proved much too good for his rivals and seems to be a novice chaser to put in the tracker. This result scored 30 points for 5 Ten To Follow teams.

That win for Call Me Lord propelled Gary Hutt into first place where he sits on 250 points. Grenville Davies, David Walters and Alan Wellsteed are all queuing up behind on 220 points apiece. The full standings can be viewed here.
